Electronic Devices Review
Friends! I realize it’s been quite awhile. Normally that wouldn’t bother me but since the holiday season has again begun Joe and I have started going to parties with people who have Real jobs and I would like to claim “blogger” at the next one which will give me way more street cred. Insert me actually having to write something this month. And for all those I offended about saying being a stay-at-home-mom isn’t a “Real” job...please send me some hate mail because that will really make me feel like I arrived on the blogging scene...plus, it will be great fodder to discuss at parties. Onward.
I feel like there aren’t enough thorough reviews of video games systems...a good compare and contrast...so this year, I give to you:
Sami’s All Inclusive Video Game System Review 2018
Nintendo 3DS: It’s a neat handheld system meant for one player. Therein lies the rub. Unless you get one for each child you will never be able to calm the other(s) the ef down while one person plays. Best for households with only one child. Also, I never have the 3D part on because it gives me a headache but it’s easy enough to turn off. Pretty sturdy...it’s sailed down the stairs a few times and managed to survive. So have our kids. Sami Rating: 2.5 stars.
Nintendo Switch: So they figured out they needed to make a system where more than one kid can play. Enter the Switch. Great because we have four controllers and five people in our house. Here at Casa Cordella if you don’t dive for a remote with speed like Dash Incredible you have to sit out for five minutes until we rotate you in. Or, you can just cry super loud and then I’ll throw my remote at you and pour myself more Costco prosecco. (I should add here, my review for Costco Prosecco is a full five stars). On the Switch you can play games like Mario Cart and Super Smash Brothers and other games with characters from the last 100 years of Nintendo games. It will scratch your nostalgia itch. Sami Rating: 3 stars.
Playstation 4 and Xbox One: I don’t know the difference just that one is upstairs and one is downstairs in our house and sometimes Joe changes which one is where based on which game he bought at midnight at GameStop like the cool guy I always knew he was. I think we have two controllers for each of the systems but only one is needed because he plays alone. That made him sound sad...but he isn’t sad because he has the manager at Game Stop to talk to about all their Missions. I know that either system allows me to watch Netflix so that’s why I’m going to rate these guys so highly. Sami Rating: 4 stars.
That’s it for my review...Happy Shopping!
Other devices in my house I don’t understand but would recommend for Christmas because that’s what Baby Jesus wants:
Google Home Hub
Echo/Alexa
Echo Dot (x2)
iPads of different sizes
Chromebook
Microsoft Surface
Kindle for an adult
Kindle for kids
A drawer of chargers for the above mentioned devices that no one can ever find. Ever.
Partridge in a Pear Tree

Sami, what have you been doing for a year!
